Herb Prawns & Tomato Kebabs
  • 100 grams raw prawns, deveined and shelled

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • ½ lemon sliced into 3mm slices

  • Spice mix:

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme

  • Skewers (if wooden, soak in water for 15 minutes before using)

Cooking Instructions: 

1. Combine spice in a bowl and stir well. Set aside

2. Wash prawns in cold water, blot dry

3. Thread skewers in the following order with lemon slice, prawns, cherry tomato, prawns, cherry tomato, and lemon slice or you may vary the order

4. Sprinkle with spice mix and rub/press into the prawns

5. Heat grill, grill pan or broiler. Arrange kebabs on the hot grill and cook until prawns are firm and pink, 5-7 minutes
